All Saints Day Concert
Every year, the USNA Music Department proudly produces the Halloween/All Saints Concert. They only produce 2 shows per year. We had heard that tickets sell out quickly, and for this year, the day that they went on sale (at 9) we went online and were able to purchase our tickets. They arrived in the mail in 2 days, which definitely impressed us!
Parking is on the yard if you have a military ID, or you have to park outside and walk through security for non-military patrons. We had 2 parties attend, and parking was hard to come by. One parked outside and found a metered spot, and the other parked on the yard over by the pool. We both felt that we were always like 1 minute too late, like we'd pull up and the last spot in the lot was just being pulled into.
One of our parties arrived at the chapel at 6:30, and the line was very very long by that time. They do have entertainers walking around making the time pass. The other party arrived at 7, and was through the door at 7:05, so the line went by very quickly!
Once inside, you can go to the left or the right, or to the left there's some stairs to sit upstairs. The best view is in the middle on the bottom. One party sat down below, and the one that was later, by the time they walked in the doors, the bottom was full, whether with bodies or people saving seats for their loved ones. We went upstairs, but the view was extremely limited for things like stage.

Hey! We never said we were great selfie takers!!! :-)
While we were waiting in the seats, they had 2 puppets in the front who were very similar to the Muppet's critics. They were telling jokes, and for some of them, even the 12 year old with us rolled his eyes and said "Really?" then kind of chuckled.
Once the show started, everyone was amazed. They started out by carrying in the organ player, which was hilarious as an homage to Monty Python (for those of us who remember). The music that was played, no joke, was all played by him. It would have been so easy for them to have recorded music, but he played the entire night and he was just wonderful! He would interact with the Mid's in the show too, and it surely looked like he was enjoying himself!
The performers were great. Some of the soloists had the most amazing voices. It was hard to remember that, these truly are just Mids! If any of them continue their vocal careers, they would be very successful.
Long story short, all parties had a great time! It lasted a little over an hour and half. Dress code was casual, some dressed up more than others. We won't spoil all that we saw, but we did take some great videos which are down below!
At the end, the mids were lined up outside and it was just such a nice night. Both parties thought it was such a great show with some really amazing singers. The kids in our group (and around us) were entertained. We even had one who had to use the bathroom, but didn't want to go because he might miss something. So the mom in us is telling you to make sure everyone "goes" before going to the show!
We all said we'd definitely go again, and this same group does Handel's Messiah the first week of December. Those seats are assigned whereas the Halloween show is general admission.
If you have photos you'd like to share, please email us and we can add to them!
