The big day is here! Today there will be a lot of paper signing and you'll get the keys to your new home!
At settlement, the sellers and the buyers will be there, as well as a representative of the title company. The title company will have searched the title, provide title insurance and obtained instructions on your loan from your lender. And, all unresolved walk-thru details need to be resolved before you can close.
With you, the title representative will explain the deed of trust, mortgage, etc. You will sign all lender forms and if necessary, pay the balance of the down payment required, as well as make sure the closing costs are taken
